History of sound recording technologyは、そのうち自分で年表を作る必要がある分野だけど、とりあえず、幾つかの二項対立を把握しておくこと。
「mechanical tech.←→electrical tech. (analog←→digital)」
「recording tech.←→playback tech.」
「format:cylinder←→format:disc」

初期の発明者としては、エジソン、ベル、ベルリナー、クロス、とかを抑えておけば良いはず。聞き覚えのある人たちばっかし。
あと、the inventions of the sound tech.以前のsound tech.と、the history of the imagination around sound tech.を把握しておく必要がある。

Max/Mspでデモをしようとしてて、さすがミュージシャン、と思ったのだけど、なぜだか上手く動かなくて、「I'll show you next time.」と言ってて、さすがミュージシャン、と思った。
関係のないフォルダ名が見えたりするのだけど「Iraq_ipod」って何が入ってるんだろう？
